Myrtle Duncan, 93 - Travelers Rest
Myrtle Effie (Dunn) Duncan, 93, wife of the late Hugh “Diddley” Duncan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare – East in Greenville.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Effie Robinson Dunn. Myrtle was retired from Palmetto Garment Company and was a member of Renfrew Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters: Janet (Richard) Kay of Greenville and Huetta (Mike) Jackson of Travelers Rest; sister: Frankie Dunn of Greenville; 3 grandchildren: Layton Suttles and companion, Tammy Reeves, Lisa (Keith) Willoughby and Bobby (Crystal) LaGore; 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, Myrtle was predeceased by brothers: Marshall Dunn and Paul Loftis.
Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2016 at The Howze Mortuary from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service following the visitation in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.
Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park.
