Travelers Rest Police Dept. Crime Report:

• 12/20/16 (11:34 am) - A female subject was arrested from a traffic stop on Main St. and West Rd. and charged with driving with a suspended license and false information.

• 12/21/16 (3:17 pm) - A male subject was arrested from Sunrift and charged with shoplifting.

• 12/22/16 (11:38 pm) - A male subject was arrested from a traffic stop on State Park Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

• 12/28/16 (2:03 pm) - A white male subject wearing a plastic mask and a dark “hoodie” robbed the United Community Bank and left with a large amount of money.  Witnesses reported a subject wearing a dark hoodie fled the area in a charcoal gray Dodge Charger, 2006-2008. (Read more here.)

• 12/30/16 (10:45 am) - A male subject was arrested from a traffic stop on Poinsett Hwy. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

• 12/30/16 (1:12 pm) - A male subject was arrested from a traffic stop on Roe Center Ct. and charged with having methamphetamine in his possession.

• 12/31/16 (1:06 am) - A male subject was arrested from a traffic stop on Grandview Rd. and charged with having heroin in his possession.

• 01/01/17 (2:19 am) - A female subject was arrested from a traffic stop on Hwy25 and State Park Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

The TRPD responded to 19 disturbances and 13 traffic collisions in the past two weeks.
