Lineup announced for 2017 Music in the Park series in Travelers Rest

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The lineup for the 2017 Music in the Park series at Travelers Rest's Trailblazer Park has been announced.

The series kicks off Sat., May 6 with Wilmington, N.C.-based Capt. Cook & the Coconutz.

May 13 - Drivin' N' Cryin' (Rock & Roll)

May 20 - Chicago Rewired (Chicago Tribute Band)

May 27 - Cranford Hollow (American/Appalachian)

June 3 - Main Street Station (Motown Revue)

June 10 - Honey & the Hot Rods (Rockabilly)

June 17 - Hot as a Pepper (Fun & Funky Pop)

June 24 - Retro Vertigo - (80s Favorites)

Sept. 2 - Angela Easterling (Alternative Country)

Sept. 9 - Shag Doctorz (Beach Music)

Sept. 23 - Euphoria Jazz (Note: Ticketed event)

The concerts in the series are free. Food vendors and the craft beer stand open at 6 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).

Trailblazer Park is located at 235 Trailblazer Dr. (formerly Wilhelm Winter St.), accessible by Highways 25 and 276 as well as the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail. No pets, coolers or smoking are allowed at Trailblazer Park events.
