Lorelei Rae Staton, Infant - Travelers Rest

Lorelei Rae Staton, age 22 days, passed away in the arms of her loving parents, at Greenville Memorial Hospital NICU, on Friday, February 3, 2017. Lorelei bravely battled prematurity and was ultimately healed by the gracious hands of Jesus.

Lorelei is the daughter of Scott Richard and Teresa Nicole Staton. During her brief visit on earth, she loved being read to, listening to her daddy sing, and gentle touches from her mommy.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are one brother: Scott “Scotty” Richard Staton, Jr.; Maternal grandparents: Donald and Dawn Stafford Ford; Maternal Great-grandmother: Ruth Chandler; Paternal grandmother: Regina Garren Fitzgerald; and Paternal Great-grandparents: Clyde and Janice Garren.

Lorelei was predeceased by her Paternal grandfather: Donald Richard Staton; and Maternal great-grandfather: Jack Leon Ford. Lorelei was also unconditionally loved by her Maternal aunt and uncle: Jessica and Jason Bailey, and their children: Mackenzie, Makayla, and Jackson. Her Paternal uncle, Danny Staton also loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, in The Howze Mortuary Chapel, followed by final resting in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home of her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the higher education fund of Scotty Staton, C/O Bank Of Travelers Rest.
