Travelers Rest councilmembers approve first votes on new city hall, police department
(Update): In a unanimous vote at Thursday night's council meeting, Travelers Rest councilmembers voted to approve the first readings of two ordinances authorizing bond issuance for the construction of a new city hall and police department complex. Voting for: Councilmembers Rick Floyd, Steve Waddell, Jeff George, Grant Bumgarner, Mayor Wayne McCall, Mayor Pro Tem Brandy Amidon, and Rebecca Cooper
Absent: Councilmembers Harvey Choplin and Kelly Byers

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Travelers Rest City Council will hold their monthly meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Thurs., March 16.
Of note, councilmembers will vote take the first of two votes on two measures that authorize bond issuance for the construction of a new city hall and police department complex.
