Ruth Morgan, 89 - Travelers Rest

Ruth Lindsey Morgan, 89, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Jesse B. Morgan, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late William Thomas, Sr. and Winnie Bell Turner Lindsey. Mrs. Morgan was retired from Emb-Tex and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

Surviving is her daughter Barbara Dunn and her husband Jerry; her son, Donald Morgan and his wife Teresa; her son-in-law, Lester Jack Laws; her brother, W.T. Lindsey; four grandchildren, Kayla Morgan, Bryan Morgan (Kayla), Andrea Hannah (Rodney) and Ben Dunn (Mary) and great grandchildren, Ethan & Malandy Hannah.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Vivian Laws and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM Friday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Barbara Dunn.
