Thomas Revels, 86 - Travelers Rest

Thomas Richard Revels, 86, of Travelers Rest, husband of the late Mary Frances Revels, died on April 8, 2017.

Born in Chester, SC, he was the son of the late Matthew and Sarah Jane Howze Revels.

Thomas retired from JPS White Horse Plant. He enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers, riding around on the golf cart with his friend Harold, and walking his beloved dog, Honey.

He is survived by his son: Richard Revels (Chantee) of Travelers Rest; grandsons: Richard Scott Revels and Ian Revels (Alyssa); one special great-granddaughter; Charlee Childs; and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, two great-grandchildren: Dakota and Parker; brothers and sister, also his beloved dog Honey.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00am until 12:30pm at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:30pm in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
