The Greenville County Coroner's Office said Justin Thomas Beddingfield was traveling east on Highway 11 when his pickup left the roadway and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to cross the center line and strike another car head-on.

Beddingfield sustained blunt force trauma injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene, Evans said. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Two men in the car that was struck were also injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. The driver of the car was transported by helicopter.
