Carolyn Lord, 92 - Travelers Rest

Carolyn Sanders Lord, 92, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late William Boyce Lord, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Jake W. and Margaret Smith Sanders, and the last surviving member of her family. She was retired from Cone Finishing and was a member of Park Place Church of God.

She is survived by her son: Clement Lord(Susan); daughter Carolyn Berthene Teague(Sammy); 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11am at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Faith Temple church cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
