Photos: Travelers Rest Farmers Market season gets underway

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The 2017 Travelers Rest Farmers Market season got underway Saturday at Trailblazer Park.

The market showcases a total of more than 90 producers and artisans, with 70+ taking part on a weekly basis.

Market vendors feature locally grown fruits and vegetables, a variety of meats, cheeses and eggs, fresh baked goods and breads, flowers, herbs, mushrooms, health and beauty care products, specialty foods, coffee and more. The Travelers Rest Farmers Market is located at 225 Trailblazer Drive (formerly Wilhelm Winter Street) in Travelers Rest, S.C. Market hours are from 8:30 a.m. - noon, every Saturday, May 6 through September 30, then Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. during October.
