Donald Ray Brown, Sr., 70 - Travelers Rest,

Donald Ray Brown, Sr., 70, of Travelers Rest, husband of the late Martha Ann Morris Brown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Jesse Dean and Ruby Dean Jett Brown. He was retired as a body shop technician and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son: Scott Brown(Sherry); daughters: Kim Wise(Kevin), Mary Ann Hylton(James); brother: Steve Brown(Wanda); grandchildren: Kayla Cannon(Josh), Kyra Valentine(Justin), Ashley Hylton, Brittaney Hylton, James Hylton, IV, Mary Hylton, Seth Brown, Silas Brown; great-grandchildren: Elijah Valentine, Cameron Valentine, and Corbin Cannon.

Along with his wife and parents he was predeceased by a son, Donald R. Brown, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 until 3 pm at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 pm at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
