Beverly Banks, 68 - Travelers Rest

Beverly “Gail” Brown Banks, 68, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Truman Arthur Brown, Sr. and the late Maggie Lois Jones Brown. Mrs. Banks was a retired CNA; a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and a member of Foothills Baptist Church.

Surviving are three children, Robert McJunkin (Diane), Tammie Roach and Tonya Morris; two sisters, Kay Holcombe and Lydia Bailey (Carroll); a brother, Truman “Dub” Brown (Dona) and five grandchildren, Matthew, Josh, Jacob, Carlton and Caitlyn.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a daughter, Jackie Colvert and a granddaughter, Kirsti Roach.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday afternoon at Foothills Baptist Church with burial to follow in Graceland West Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 AM Thursday at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of her sister Lydia & Carroll Bailey.
