Travelers Rest woman dies in Hwy. 25 wreck

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – A 67-year-old Travelers Rest woman was killed in a single vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 25 just north of the city of Travelers Rest on Thursday.

The wreck occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of E. Bowers Road.

Greenville County Coroner B. Parks Evans said Kathyrn Hensley was traveling south when her SUV crossed all lanes of traffic and went over an embankment, overturning in a field.

Hensley, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Evans said

The collision is under investigation by the S.C. Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, according to Parks.
