Larry Banks, 50 - Travelers Rest

Larry Gene Banks, Jr., 50, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Saturday July 1, 2017. Born on September 23, 1966, he was the son of the late Larry Gene and Rosa Garcia Banks. Larry was a veteran of the US Army and he was a long time member of VFW Post 10058 in Travelers Rest. He was a natural born comedian who never met a stranger. Larry loved camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his two sons, Charles Andrew Merriett and Conner Riley Jones; brothers, Patrick B. Merriett and Troy B. Merriett; and nephews, Cody Quackenbush, Cody Merriett, and Shawn Merriett.

The visitation for Mr. Banks will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 6-10PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
