3 injured in Travelers Rest house fire

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early morning house fire in Travelers Rest that sent three people to the hospital.

After receiving a 911 call around 12:20 a.m., North Greenville firefighters and Greenville County deputies responded to a home on Ebeneezer Church Rd., according to Sgt. Jimmy Bolt.

The three victims were transported to local hospitals, where their conditions were unknown, Bolt said.

Bolt said the department's arson unit is investigating the fire.

North Greenville firefighters returned to the scene this morning after the fire was rekindled.
