Devildog broadcaster Matt DeHart interns for Mike Gallagher Show
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Matt DeHart, a junior elementary education major at Bob Jones University known locally for his work with starting the Devildog Sports Network, is interning this summer for the Mike Gallagher Show, a nationally syndicated radio show headquartered in New York City.
A resident of Taylors, DeHart's responsibilities include screening calls during the national show, traveling across the United States as a technician for remote broadcasts, and aiding Gallagher in his day-to-day work load.
"This summer has been a huge step for me," DeHart said. "The spiritual foundation that BJU instilled in me has helped me become a light many times throughout my time here. I am also grateful for the instruction of BJU's journalism and mass communication program that has helped me be successful with the Mike Gallagher Show."
