Ken Roberts, 83 - Marietta

Kenneth “Ken” Roberts, 83, of Marietta, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

Born in Unicoi, TN, he was a son of the late George and Bessie Buchanan Roberts. Mr. Roberts was retired from Union Bleachery and a member of Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Rita Young Roberts; two sons, Dale Roberts and Justin Roberts; a sister, Jan Jenkins and two grandchildren, Kaiden Kaulana Roberts and Kenneth Kaimana Roberts.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Roberts and four sisters, Dottie Harrill, Jo Ann Howard, Judy Lee and Bobbie Turner.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:20 PM Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.
