James Dennis Christmas, 52 - Travelers Rest

James Dennis Christmas, 52, of Travelers Rest, passed away September 17, 2017.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Virginia Chism Christmas McAbee, and the late James Kenneth Christmas. James was employeed at The Cascades of Verdae Retirement Community, and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife: Alexandria Antoninette Rice Christmas; three daughters: Jamie Blatter (Mike), Mahaila Reynolds (Fiance’ Dennis Coggins), and Leighana Christmas; one step-son: Alexander Williams; two step-daughters: Ashley Connelly (Jermaine), and Andria Knox (Julian); one brother: Glenn Anders; three sisters: Alethea Parker (James), Shelby Zink (David), and Audrey Anders; and three step-grandchildren who he adored.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, in The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
