30-year-old Marietta man killed in Sunday crash

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A 30-year-old Marietta man was killed in a single-car crash in northern Greenville County on Sunday morning.

Christopher Carl Laws, of Forest Dale Road, lost control of his pickup truck around 3:30 a.m. on Range Trail in Cleveland. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned, ejecting Laws, according to Greenville County Coroner B. Parks Evans.

Laws, who was not wearing a seat belt, died on the scene from blunt force trauma, Evans said.
