Mark Cowart, 48 - Travelers Rest

Mark Leon Cowart, 48, of Travelers Rest, passed away October 5, 2017.

Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of Loraine Phillips Cowart and the late Douglas Cowart.

Along with his mother he is survived by a brother: Ronald Leroy Cowart; sister: Sherry Harrison(Wayne); and children: Douglas Cowart and Cassandra Michelle Cowart.

Along with his father he was predeceased by brothers: Jerry Wayne Cowart, Steven Cowart, and Randall Cowart.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1pm until 2pm at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2pm at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Coleman Memorial Cemetery.

The family will be at his home.
