Registration open for Slater-Marietta Christmas Parade

SLATER-MARIETTA, S.C. — Registration is open for the annual Slater-Marietta Christmas Parade.

Scheduled for Sun., Dec. 10 at 3 p.m., the theme for this year's parade is “Our Christmas Favorites," and registration is open to businesses, civic organizations, churches, animals, motorcycles, schools and individuals.

To register: Use the online entry form here. (Entry fees: $15 per entry. If you have multiple vehicles being judged as a single entry, the fee is $15 for the first vehicle plus $5 for each additional vehicle.)

Entry deadline is Dec. 4. There will be no registration on the day of the parade.

An awards ceremony and reception with Santa will be held following the parade at Slater Hall Community Center.
