Pantha Park, 97 - Travelers Rest

Pantha Weathers Park, 97, of Travelers Rest, widow of Orville David Park, Jr, went to be with the Lord, November 28, 2017.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Lee and Susan Elliott Weathers. Mrs. Park was a member of First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest, where she was a faithful member of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), and taught Sunday School until she was ninety-five years old.

Surviving are three daughters: Susan Park Kyzer (Dan), Jean Park Brown (Jimmy), and Anne Park Burns (Mike); one sister: Ola Weathers Bowman; twelve grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, and two sisters.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, at First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest.

The family will be at their respective homes.
