Deputies and firefighters used a rope bag to reach the kids.
Deputies have learned that prior to falling in the pond two of the juveniles slid on the ponds frozen surface on two separate sleds. A third child stayed near the edge. At some point, the ice beneath them broke, and the two juveniles fell and became submerged in the water.
A nearby neighbor called 911 and attempted to rescue the children until emergency personnel arrived on scene.
All three juveniles were transported to the hospital for precautionary purposes and are expected to be okay, Flood said.
