"The decision to leave Travelers Rest was an extremely difficult one, " Gracely said. "I am excited about the new challenges that lie ahead, particularly the opportunity to utilize my skills to make a positive impact on Simpsonville. But to say I will miss the people in TR is an understatement, as this community will forever be part of who I am."
Travelers Rest Mayor Brandy Amidon said "Gracely's knowledge, calmness, and creativeness will be greatly missed."
"She's become a fixture of our town and we know that won't change when she changes positions," Amidon said. "We wish her all the best and know that the city of Simpsonville is blessed to have her.'
