Mayor Amidon, councilmembers inducted into office

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The first woman to be elected mayor of Travelers Rest was inducted into office on Thursday night.
Brandy Amidon, along with newly re-elected and elected councilmembers, took their respective oaths at the January city council meeting.
