Coroner Terry Tinker said 20-year-old James Case died from gunshot wounds.

No officers were hurt, and SLED agents recovered the suspect's gun, the AP reports.

The incident in Chester County is the seventh officer-involved shooting in South Carolina so far this year, according to SLED.
