Raymond Silvers, 76 - Travelers Rest

Raymond Nathaniel Silvers, 76, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at his home.

Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Samuel Garfield and Amanda Bayne Silvers. Mr. Silvers was retired from Silvers Drywall & Construction and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Janette Tyler Silvers; two sons, Ricky Silvers (Sandra) and Robin Silvers (Kim); a daughter, Tammy Guest (Benny); 2 brothers, David and Marvin Silvers; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Hugo and Donnie Silvers and two sisters, Thelma Teague and Orelia Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday morning in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Wednesday evening at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
