Elmer Kramer Jr., 84 - Travelers Rest
Elmer Rexford Kramer, Jr., 84, of Travelers Rest, husband of the late Betty Amos Kramer for 50 years, passed away Monday April 16, 2018, at his daughter’s home.
Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Elmer Rexford, Sr. and Ida Mae Hammey Gibbs Kramer. He was retired from Fairway Ford as a service department manager, a Vaudevillian unicyclist performer, and a member of Forestville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters: Debra Ann Crook and Laura Gaye Salmans (Carl); son Jackie Rexford Kramer; grandchildren: Country (Sonya), Ernie (Amanda), Sarah, Joshua (Salem), Anna (Jose), and Joseph (Adrianna); great-grandchildren: Ella, Grace, Mae, Clara, Juanita, Felicita, James, and Charlie; many loving nieces and nephews; and especially his friend and companion of nine years, Loretta Farrow.
Along with his parents and wife he was predeceased by a brother, Frank Charles Kramer.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Graveside services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park.
