Travelers Rest High School students to present 'Nunsense' musical comedy
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. —Travelers Rest High School Department of Fine Arts presents "Nunsense: The Mega-Musical Version" on April 26 through April 28 at 7 p.m. in the schools's Patricia Hunt auditorium at 301 N. Main St., Travelers Rest.
Join the zany Little Sisters of Hoboken who are raising money to bury their unfortunate sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent chef, Sister Julia (Child of God). In an evening of comic songs, witty dialogue, entertaining dance, and even an audience quiz, you'll leave the theatre laughing.
This expanded version of the popular show by Dan Goggin includes old and new characters, led by the Mother Superior, a role made famous by Rue McClanahan.
The show is directed by Carl Wylie, who will also conduct the show. The production team also includes vocal director Peter Simms, choreographer Julie Esworthy, and scenic artist Bronwyn White.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
