Travelers Rest Historical Society's Storytelling Night continues Thursday

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Travelers Rest Historical Society's popular storytelling night series will continue on Thurs., May 10 at the Travelers Rest Sargent Branch Library.

The theme for the program, which is scheduled to run from 7 - 8 p.m., will be "Lessons I've Learned in School or Life."

Started as a one-time gathering in early 2012, the Historical Society's storytelling nights have grown into an every-other-month event, with local tale spinners, history buffs and other attendees sharing stories and memories of the upper Greenville county area and beyond.

The Sargent Branch Library is located at 17 Center St. in downtown Travelers Rest.
