Updated: Wife charged with murder after stabbing at Duncan Chapel Road apartment complex

GREENVILLE, S.C. — A Greenville County woman is accused of fatally stabbing her husband during an argument, according to Sgt. Ryan Flood with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to Court Ridge Apartments on Duncan Chapel Road around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday and found a man dead.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the man as 25-year-old Caleb Joseph Bartram.

Bartram was attacked in his home and suffered a fatal wound to the chest, the coroner said.

Investigators allege that Bartram had been stabbed in the chest with a cutting instrument by his wife, Christina June Bartram, 38.

Christina Bartram had a medical episode at the apartment complex and was taken to the hospital.

Flood said that warrants had been signed charging Christina Bartram with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Greenville County deputies are investigating the death of a 25-year-old man whose body was discovered at an apartment complex on Duncan Chapel Road on Sunday afternoon.

Caleb Joseph Bartram, 25, sustained a fatal wound to the chest and died in his apartment, according to Greenville County Coroner Kent Dill. He lived in the Court Ridge Apartments complex located at 2601 Duncan Chapel Rd., across the street from the Furman University campus.

Bartram was attacked in his apartment just before 6 p.m. on Sunday and pronounced dead about 15 minutes later, Dill said.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office has not released any information on any suspects.
