Lois Messer Vickers, 81 - Travelers Rest

Lois Geraldine (Messer) Vickers, 81, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harley Gilbert and Lunia Gilland Messer. Lois was a loving homemaker to her family and a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church.

Lois is survived by her husband of 49 years: George Dean Vickers; sons: Randy Harrison, Raymond Harrison Sr. (Martha Sue) and Jason Vickers (Suzanne); sisters: Evelyn Nunn (Albert), Beulah McCall and Glenda Broome; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Lois was predeceased by a sister: Alma Brown and brother: Marvin Messer.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon, May 31, 2018 from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home the home of her son, Jason Vickers.
