Leonard Lynch, 85 - Travelers Rest

Leonard Eugene Lynch, 85, widower of Hazel Duncan Lynch, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Born on June 29, 1932 to the late Eula Vaughan Lynch and Reverend Jack T. Lynch, Sr., he was an avid bird watcher with his own bird sanctuary at his home.  He loved his Lord and his family.  Before he retired he worked at Coca Cola Bottling, and was business office and shipping manager at Abney Mills (Renfrew Bleachery) and Kerr Finishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeanne L. Woods (Gary) and Laura K. LeBreton (Mark); grandchildren, Kim Woods Searcy, Gregory Woods, Kristen Woods Long, Sarah LeBreton Lively, and Joshua LeBreton; great grandchildren, Kelsey Woods, Hunter, Colton and Caroline Searcy, Keira Long, Brynley Woods, Hazel and Jack Lively; and a sister, Ruth McCauley.

Leonard was preceded in death by siblings, Hellen Kelley, Margaret Lynch and Betty Rampey and Jack T. Lynch, Jr. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Gardens in Travelers Rest with the Reverend Tim Lee officiating.
