Harold Pitmon, 68 - Travelers Rest

Harold Pitmon, 68, of Travelers Rest, passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at his home, into the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Christine Marie Shirley Pitmon. Mr. Pitmon was retired from 3M Company, and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was a kind and gentle soul, with a giving Spirit, and a great love for his Lord.

He is survived by his wife and best friend: Dorothy Ann Kinghorn Pitmon; two daughters: Tracy Ann Pitmon, and Lori Leigh Pitmon Bowles; two brothers: Robert Pitmon (Berneta), and Walter Pitmon (Pat); six grandchildren: Morgan Mills, Jourdan Pitmon, Kelsea Ray, Zachary Ray, Katelyn Bowles, and Nyland Bowles; three great-grandchildren: Piper Leigh Turner, Robert “Bo” Owen Turner IV, and William Isaiah Mills; one nephew: Scott Pitmon; one niece: Cindy Pitmon; and his buddy dog: Rowdy Pitmon. He loved his family, and will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church.
