Michael McCarson, 56 - Marietta

Michael Wayne McCarson, 56, of Marietta, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Born in Marietta, S.C., he was a son of the late James Pinkney and Argle Leigle Cox McCarson. Michael was a Truck Driver, and was member of Gap Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son: Malachi Roldan; and four brothers: Tony McCarson (Angie), Ed McCarson (Trish), Marvin McCarson (Lynn), and Ricky McCarson.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018 in The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Gap Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home of a brother, Marvin McCarson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gap Creek Baptist Church, 381 Gap Creek Rd., Marietta, SC 29661.
