'Life in TR' photo contest deadline is Nov. 9

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The city of Travelers Rest has announced a "Life in TR" photo contest. Winning entry prizes include a $150 Sunrift gift certificate as well as restaurant, White Rabbit Gallery, and Pink Mama's Ice Cream gift cards.

Categories include: art and architecture, the main street scene, a day at Trailblazer Park, recreations/sports, and natural environment.

"We are looking for images that capture the spirit of everything our city has to offer from natural beauty and recreational activities to architectural points of interest and community gatherings that celebrate our town and parks," city officials say.

Photos must be taken in Travelers Rest between August 1, 2018, and October 31, 2018, and submitted no later than November 9, 2018, at 5pm.
