Robert Leslie, 88 - Travelers Rest

Robert Maurice “Modified Bob” Leslie, 88, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.

Born in Houston, Texas, Bob loved everything automotive. As an avid street rodder he built countless motorcycles and was a master in modifying and customizing cars. Bob loved to draw and most of his drawings can be seen around his favorite spots in Travelers Rest. Bob was a devout member of Upward Seventh Day Adventist Church in Flat Rock, NC.

Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Joyce Pepper Leslie; a step-daughter, Gayle Mullen; a step-son, Marvin Smith (Peggy); two grandchildren, Sherri Mullen and Christopher Mullen and two great grandchildren, Jada Mullen and Christopher Mullen, Jr.

A Memorial service will be held from 6 PM until 8 PM Thursday evening at Upward Seventh day Adventist Church in Flat Rock, NC.

Burial will be at 3:00 PM Saturday afternoon at North Union Cemetery in Bellefontaine, MS.
