Former Travelers Rest High School music educator donates new Steinway piano
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Former Travelers Rest High School music educator Patricia Hunt-Fisher recently made a generous contribution to the school, donating a new Steinway & Sons piano to the music department.
The baby grand piano is from the prestigious maker's "Boston" line.

"I am blown away by the generosity of this unexpected gift," said Peter Simms, the school's current chorus director. "I am honored that we have such caring community members that want to reinvest in Travelers Rest and in our young people."
A longtime educator, Hunt-Fisher served as Travelers Rest High School's chorus director until 1995. The school's auditorium is named in her honor.
