Furman makes Conde Nast's '50 most beautiful college campuses' list

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Furman University has been named to Conde Nast Traveler's '50 most beautiful college campuses in America' list.

"The most striking feature of Furman’s lakeside campus is the six-story Florentine bell tower, but the Asia Gardens are the real treat. Focusing on Japanese and Chinese plants, the free garden is filled with bamboo, azalea, Japanese maples, and more, making the walk to class in the Southern heat slightly more pleasant," the entry reads.
