TR Town & Art Crawl returns Friday

September 14th Crawl Happenings (6pm to 9pm)

We are celebrating local authors and illustrators as celebrate the beginning of fall! Mark your calendar and join us on Main Street in downtown Travelers Rest, SC from 6p-9p for live music, food, friends and more. Details on all our Crawl happening are below. Don’t forget to pick up your Crawl Card to help you travel around the Crawl route. Use the Crawl Card to take advantage of free events, food specials, shop discounts AND it can help you win $50. Events @ The Gazebo (Green space on Main Street in front of Gray Mare Antiques)

  • Perform on the Greer Real Estate Stage! Come play theatre games with us and try your hand at performing on the Stage.
  • Mask Making – Kids of all ages can come make a mask to trasnform themselves into their favorite animal, person or comic character.
  • Local artists on Main Street!

Events @ RetroMarketplace

  • Local artists on Main Street! Including the work of jewelry maker Amie Kobler of Hey Moon

Events @ Poinsett and Main (Front Lawn outside My Sister’s Store)

  • Read & Illustrate! Tonight, every 15 minutes from 6:15p-8:30p, one of our local authors will be telling their tales. Come hear stories from Melinda Long, Tim Davis, Sally Hursey, Davey Morgan and more. You can also join one of our local illustrators and help illustrate these stories as they read.
  • Listen to the sound of the Friday Night Jam Session, which begins around 7p.

Events @ The Grove (Just down from Upcountry Provisions Bakery and Bistro)

  • Live music on the stage at The Grove from 5p-9p. You can also try one of their wood-fired pizzas and sip on a beverage while listening!

Events @ TRee House Cafe & Studio

  • Free to create! Come make one line charcoal drawings at the Cafe tonight.

Events @ Arts Square (Parking Lot of TR Makers Co and White Rabbit Gallery)

  • Bring on the Pirate Talk as we read books from the Pirate Library hosted by PatioFlavor. Carrie Clickard’s book “Victricia Malicia” will help set the mood for this Pirate’s book nook.
  • Kids make their own Story Cubes inside TR Makers Co, free! While here come have a talk with artist and illustrator Stacey Hogue.
