Travelers Rest man killed in Hwy. 11 crash

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A 28-year-old Travelers Rest man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 11 in northern Greenville County on Friday, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office.

Austin Anthony Moore was killed when his 2004 Jeep Cherokee collided with a tractor-trailer near Hwy. 101, coroner B. Parks Evans said.

The crash happened around 11:40 a.m.

Moore died at the scene.

Hwy. 11 was closed between Hwy. 101 and Tigerville Road as emergency personnel responded to the scene.
