Jerry Edward Lell, 78 - Travelers Rest

Jerry Edward Lell, 78, husband of Bonnie Mosteller Lell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Leroy and Carrie Lou Bell Lell.  Jerry and his wife were the owners of Lell Tire in Travelers Rest serving the community for 48 years.  Jerry was active in the TRYA for over 25 years, mentoring and coaching youth in football, basketball and baseball. He was an active member of Forestville Baptist Church serving faithfully in Good News Club at Gateway Elementary, Faith Team, Nursery and the Sanctuary Sunday School Class.

Surviving along with his wife of 40 years is a daughter: Geri Lynn Lell; son: James McDowell (Robyn); brothers: Jimmy Lell (Sarah) and Gary Lell; grandson by faith, Christian Powell along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday afternoon, September 29, 2018, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Forestville Baptist Church.  Funeral service will follow the visitation in the church sanctuary at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will be at Coleman Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forestville Baptist Church – Good News Club at Gateway Elementary, 2 Old McElhaney Rd., Greenville, SC  29617.

The family will be at the home.
