Eva Armilda Bridges, 74 - Marietta

Eva Armilda Bridges, 74, of Marietta, widow of Buford Lee Bridges, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014.

Born in Tuxedo, NC, she was a daughter of the late Buddy Roland and Gladys Bayne Brown. Mrs. Bridges was a homemaker and was a member of Slater Church Of God.

Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law: Wanda McClendon (Tony), Brenda Bridges (Gary Potter), and Gail Galloway; one sister: Pansy Drum; four grandchildren: Renada McClendon, Amberly Potter, Candi McClendon, and A.J. McClendon; and one great grandchild, Ashton Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary prior to the service.
