John Calvin Langley, 87 - Travelers Rest

John Calvin Langley, 87, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his home.

Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Claude H. and Lucille McAlister Langley. Calvin was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Korea having served on the submarine, USS Runner; he worked for the State Tax Commission and the owner of the Hobby Center on Laurens Road in Greenville, SC for many years and he was a lifelong member of Enoree Baptist Church, having served as Teller for over 35 years.

Surviving is his wife Jean Gravley Langley; his inherited children, Dale, Stephan and Elaine; grandson, Josh and two greats, Corbin and Campbell.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Langley.

Memorial service will be held at Enoree Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:50 PM at the church prior to the service at the church.

The family will be at the home.
