Woman killed in Travelers Rest wreck

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A 37-year-old North Carolina woman was killed Monday in a crash on U.S. Hwy. 25 near the intersection of Allen Road in Travelers Rest, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office.

Taqunia Vashalai Collins, of Hendersonville, was driving a small sedan that crossed the center line and was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Hwy. 25, Greenville County Coroner B. Parks Evans said.

Collins was pronounced dead on the scene, Evans said.
