Nettie Weathers, 77 - Travelers Rest

 

Nettie Ruth Sheppard Weathers, 77, of Travelers Rest, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie Ruth Sheppard. She was a caregiver and waitress for many years and was a member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Billy Weathers; two daughters: Tammy Senter, Susan Owens; a step daughter: Evelyn Lococa; three sisters: Frankie Gilbert (Stan), Alice Poole, Claudia Plonden (Rick); 9 grandchildren and 18 loving great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son: David E. Ballew, a step son: Chad Weathers, and a brother: Edgar Lee Sheppard.

A graveside will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday morning in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.
