Missing woman found safe near Caesar’s Head

GREENVILLE COUNTY — A woman who went missing in northern Greenville County on Tuesday night has been located and is safe.

Deputies and search crews began looking for 70-year-old Sue Darlene Thompson in the Cliff Ridge Colony area, located near Caesar's Head, on Tuesday evening.

Sheriff's office K9 units, search and rescue teams, and an air support unit were dispatched to the scene.

A sheriff's office spokesperson said Thompson was found around 8:15 on Wednesday morning.
