Otis Leroy Reynolds, 89 - Travelers Rest
Otis Leroy Reynolds, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Jesse C. Reynolds and Edith Looper Reynolds. Leroy was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from J.P. Stevens – Slater Mill and a member of Reedy River Baptist Church in Greenville, Hwy 25 N.
Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret E. Clayton Reynolds; sons: Rick Reynolds and wife Debbie, Rex Reynolds and wife Sue; daughter: Rita R. Carter and husband Gerald; daughter-in-law: Debbie Reynolds; sister: Opal Lane; 7 grandchildren: Wendi Morgan, Josh (Kim) Reynolds, Kristen Jones (Hunter), Candice Taylor (Tommy), Paul (Ashley) Reynolds, Michael (Megan) Carter and David (Tonya) Carter; 12 great-grandchildren: Averi Best (James), Andrea Turner, Blake Taylor, Rylan Carter, Maddox Carter, Kenzie Carter, Devin Carter, Kaitlyn Carter, Sam Reynolds, Reagan Reynolds, Jordan Reynolds and Luke Reynolds; 3 great-great-grandchildren: Tylan Turner, Beclyn Isom and Amelia Reynolds; sisters-in-law: Joyce Branton and Shirley Greene (Morris) along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Leroy was also predeceased by a son, Roy Reynolds; 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
Visitation will be Thursday morning, January 24, 2019 from 9:30 am until 10:50 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will follow the visitation in Howze Chapel at 11 a.m.
Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.
