Nancy Grumbles Johnson, 74 - Travelers Rest

Nancy Jannett Grumbles Johnson, 74, wife of the late Robert Paul Johnson, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at River Falls Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lude Shirrell Grumbles and Ruth Bryant Grumbles. Nancy was retired from the former Dans Manufacturing in Travelers Rest and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

Nancy is survived by a sister: Judy Grumbles Bramlett; brothers: Billy (Georgia) Grumbles, Stanley Richard Grumbles and Richard (Nicki) Grumbles; nieces: Pamela Bramlett, Kimberly Cox and Lee Ann Grumbles; nephews: Billy Grumbles, Brian Grumbles, Brad Grumbles and Raymond Cox; great-nieces: Maddie Grumbles, Mallory Grumbles, Gracie Grumbles, Ashtan Grumbles, Erin Grumbles, Lindsey Grumbles, Sasha Bridges, Kendall Carpenter and Jessica Ann Knapp; great-nephews: Carter Grumbles and Clayton Grumbles; step-daughter: Kathy Johnson.

Along with her parents and husband, Nancy was predeceased by a daughter: Tonya Ludeth Tucker; sister: Barbara Louise Cox and brother: Walter Shirrell Grumbles.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 12:30 until 1:20 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.

The family will be at their respective homes.
