Patricia Ann Clontz, 77 - Travelers Rest

Patricia Ann Blackwell Clontz, 77, of Travelers Rest, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her home.

 

Born in Newport, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Jesse James and Florence Ota Smith Blackwell. She was a homemaker for many years and was loved by many. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

 

Surviving are her husband of 59 years: Roger Clontz; two daughters: Debra Taylor (Laton), Lisa Gillchrest (Richard); a son: Roger Wiley Clontz; four grandchildren: Tommie Taylor, Arden Gillchrest, Dustin Clontz, Sierra Clontz, two brothers: Clint Blackwell (Dorothy), Harold Blackwell (Darlene); two sisters: Doris Compton and Brenda Young (Luther).

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers: J.N., Bruce, Herbert and Haskell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church Bus Fund. 646 Dacusville Rd. Marietta, SC 29661.

Family will be at the home.
